Fortis Bank Insurances has definitively acquired the Ninia Shopping Centre in Ninove. The transaction was concluded by Fortis Real Estate, who will also undertake the asset management. Immobiliën Hugo Ceusters advised.The Ninia Shopping Centre, open since September 2002, is located in the heart of Ninove just a short way from the new town hall, and comprises some 10,000 m² of retail space with 49 units let to operators including Mexx, Esprit, Ici Paris XL, Photo Hall, C&A, Kruidvat, Blokker etc..

With its excellent location in the centre of Ninove and its ease of access, together with a large covered car park and the quality of construction, the Ninia Shopping Centre has become a real focal point where major brands previously missing in Ninove can now be found.

For Fortis Bank Insurances, this acquisition fits in with the strategy of expansion and diversification of their real estate portfolio.
