This Monday October 10th, 2005, at the Exporeal in Munich, Interparking presented a strategic partnership with the Deutsche Bahn through its German subsidiary company Contipark.
The Deutsche Bahn manages the German railway network, which comprises more than 5,000 stations.
The aim of this partnership is to manage, in joint venture, all the car parks situated near the railway stations in Germany, in order to offer innovative solutions to the users of these sites and of the railway network.
Contipark was chosen by the Deutsche Bahn because of its well-known professionalism on the German market and of Interparking's experience. The Interparking group already runs nearly 300 car parks in seven countries in Europe, having a total of more than 150,000 parking spaces.
This agreement is a first in terms of partnership between a car park manager and a railway company. It will be a reference for similar projects in other countries of Euroland.
