The last office building of the global development project of 56,000 m² on the De Veldekens site, is part of the real estate portfolio of Fortis since a couple of weeks.

The building was developed in joint-venture between the construction company Vooruitzicht and Fortis Real Estate. Fortis acquired the part of Vooruitzicht in the joint-venture.

This last building of some 9,200 m² office space and 206 parking places, exactly met Fortis' needs for its insurance activities in Antwerp both in terms of location and in terms of delivery date.

The delivery of the building is foreseen during the Spring 2007, but Fortis will enter the building somewhat later during the year 2007.
